Can you believe that as I write this, we only have 17 days until Christmas!! We don't know about you, but the contemporary team are super excited! As we get into the festive spirit so have our pop ups. We have welcomed a range of fabulous small businesses during November across all our locations.
Let's take a look back at this month....
Carlisle - The Lanes Pop Up
Solunar Wax and Alpha Gray Art (7th - 13th November)
We welcomed Solunar Wax and Alpha Gray Art to our pop up store for one week at the start of November. The store was filled with a range of handmade homeware and candles. They fantastically transformed the space and it was a pleasure to welcome them.
Something a little different Collective (14th - 20th November)
We had a fantastic range of local makers return to our pop up this month. Something a little different collective is formed by an amazing collective of local Cumbrian makers. The shop was filled was a bundle of handmade goodies!
Naturally local (21st - 27th November)
Following on from Something a little different collective we welcomed Naturally Local Cumbria. In store the space was filled with products from 20 ethical and sustainable local businesses. The shop had a spectacular transformation and customers were loving the pop up and described it as “Aladdin’s cave!”
The Victorian Candle Co (14th - 27th November)
In our extended pop up space we welcomed The Victorian Candle Co. For two weeks they had their range of beautiful scented candles available for purchase in store. The store was a massive success and it was a pleasure to welcome them to the space.
Luna Amatores, Walter Wylde Ceramics, Flutter and Fern and Campbells Antiques (28th November - 11th December)
If you are local to Carlisle, you can catch a collective of makers in store selling a fantastic range of products such as crystals, ceramics, enamel pins, antiques and much more. The shop looks spectacular and there are plenty of goodies in store which we think would make perfect presents this Christmas!
David Phillips Photography (28th November - 11th December)
Our extended space has a range of artists and photographers showcasing their work for the next two weeks. Pop on down and check them out whilst you can!
Harrogate - Harrogate Pop Up
Rosie flos (14th - 20th November)
Rosie flos returned to our pop up for one week this month! From clothing to personalised gifts the space was filled with a great range of products.
Jane Gale Designs and 2 little mice (21st - 27th November)
Two local businesses joined together and hosted our space this month. In store shoppers of Harrogate could find a range of beautiful landscape art from Jane Gale Designs and adorable children’s clothing from 2 little mice. The shop looks fabulous and it was a pleasure to welcome them!
Martha and Bea (28th November - 4th December)
Martha and Bea joined us towards the end of November selling their range of locally printed clothing and accessories! The shop looked super festive and welcoming. Jane expressed that she had a great time with lots of returning customers shopping in the store. We were super pleased to hear this and glad that it was a success!
Stockport - Stockport Pop Up
Curious Raven Collective (7th - 13th November)
Our pop up was transformed into an amazing art gallery at the start of November. In store a collective of local artists came together and showcased their work in our pop up shop for one week.
Cleverly Creative By Olivia (14th - 20th November)
Following on from the Curious Raven Collective we welcomed Oliva Wilde to our pop up space. In the store, shoppers of Stockport could find a fabulous range of her art on offer for purchase.
Great Outdoors (21st - 27th November)
We gave a warm welcome back to Great Outdoors who hosted our Stockport Pop Up for one week during November. They bought a range of products to the space from alcohol gift sets to novelty decorative signs, there was a great range in store.
Grounded MCR (28th November - 4th December)
Grounded MCR joined us for one week towards the end of November. In store they had brews, crafts, art, gifting products and much more. It was a pleasure to welcome them!
Hanley - Potteries Pop Up
Keep it Local (7th - 13th November)
For one week at the start of November we welcomed Keep it Local to our pop up store. The space had a magnificent transformation and was filled with a range of products from local makers and creators. Keep It Local said this about their time with us: “We loved every minute of running our own shop, thank you for the opportunity”. It was a joy to welcome them and we are so glad that it was a great success!
Kiht Collective (21st November - 25th December)
If you are local to Hanley, then make sure you head on down to our pop up where you can catch Kiht Collective in the space until Christmas. With exclusive product drops in store, this is one pop up you do not want to miss!
Mansfield - Mansfield Pop Up
No1 Replacements and A.L.L Candles (7th - 13th November)
No1 Replacements and A.L.L Candles joined us for one week in our Mansfield Pop Up Shop. The store had a range of fantastically scented candles, wax melts and a range of crockery too.
Little Lotion Company (14th - 27th November)
We loved how bright our pop up looked towards the end of November when The Little Lotion Company hosted the space. The shop has a fabulous range of handmade bath bombs, soaps and wax melts. They expressed that they had a great time in store and we were thrilled to welcome them!
Carrie Austin Photography (28th November - 4th December)
Carrie Austin Photography joined us in our space for one week along with a range of fantastic local makers. The space stocked a range of products such as dog treats, crystals, wax melts and much more. Their time in store was a roaring success and we are so thrilled for them!
Leeds - Leeds Pop Up
Candy Hero (7th - 27th November)
For three weeks, we welcomed Candy Hero to our pop up! If you have a sweet tooth then this was the perfect pop up! The space had a range of candy and savory treats available for purchase. Their pop up was a great hit with shoppers!
We Got U Covered (28th November - 4th December)
Towards the end of November, we gave a warm welcome back to We Got U Covered. In store they had a fabulous range of products from Christmas pajamas to women's clothing and accessories.
Newcastle - Eldon Sq Pop Up
D-Rock (21st - 27th November)
This month, we officially opened the shutters of our Eldon Sq Pop Up! Our first hosts D-Rock filled the store with their range of men's clothing and accessories. We were so thrilled to see the space open just in time for Christmas and we cannot want to welcome to welcome all of the businesses we have lined up!
Macclesfield - Macc Pop Up
The Rossendale Trust (14th - 20th November)
The Rossendale Trust joined us in store this month selling a wide selection of personalised gifts, art and much more. The shop looked fantastic and it was great to welcome them!
5 (21st - 27th November)
A collective of local makers took over our space for one week towards the end of November. The collective was made up of Little Jen Jewellery, Knotting Special, Cutch Company, Laura Jane Ceramics and Aglaea Jewels. In the store there were a range of products from jewellery to ceramics. Alderley Park Pop Up
Gifts 2 Gifts and All Of The Styles (7th November)
At the start of November, we welcomed back Gifts 2 Gifts and All Of The Styles to Alderley Park Pop Up. The shop was stocked with gifts, accessories, clothing and much more! It was great to welcome them back.
DGHNT
Throughout November, we welcome DGHNT to our pop up shop on many occasions. They fueled the customers of Alderley Park with their fantastic artisan doughnuts.
Vin-icio (18th November)
Vin-icio returned to the space during November. It was the perfect spot for any wine lovers. Vin-icio had a selection of wines on offer for purchase ranging from white to red, whatever the preference, they had it stocked!
House of Scent (24th November)
Any candle loving customers at Alderley Park were in for a treat when we welcomed House of Scent. The space was filled to the brim with a range of beautiful and sustainable hand pored candles.
Cheshire Paints (28th November - 2nd December)
A fabulous range of art was exhibited in the space for one week at the end of November. As always, the shop looked fabulous and it was great to welcome Cheshire Paints.
